The Academy of Visual Arts was founded in 2005 as an independent academic unit of Hong Kong Baptist University. Our many distinctions within the educational landscape of Hong Kong – like practice-based education, unique courses, extensive studio spaces, etc. – are tied together by our strong commitment to the ideal of interdisciplinary, the philosophy of bringing together the various formats, media, approaches, concepts, and methodologies of all visual arts. With the integrated and holistic learning experience in visual arts, students will be able to explore individual uniqueness and to develop own creativity.
